… and the living is easy. Bonnie’s Best from June, July and first of August:
The leaves are turning and the birds are leaving. Well, some of the birds are leaving. The ospreys are off to warmer climates along with the phoebes and monarchs. Thankfully, they love the camera. The very young heron may never leave. It appears to have imprinted.
I love this time of year. The colors of the leaves and birds are especially glorious.
There are still eagles around, but the north is calling.
Westchester County, NY is a paradise for birders and photographers.
The Croton Train Station osprey got a bath. The red-tailed hawk also got a bath and apparently a small meal. And the Annsville eagle tried to get a meal.
I see these guys ALL the time, just wanted to give a different view.
Made it to Croton train station and park at low tide. I also filled in at the Croton Nature Center for a few days. It was very relaxing to finally be able to concentrate on my bird photography after a break.
