Some of my favorites from 2016
The great white egret from Thornwood wowed me all spring, summer and fall. The bird got so used to people at its park that it often joined groups at the picnic tables.

California Time
The 77 degree weather was a welcome relief. Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Alviso was outstanding in the early morning light. The smells reminded me of my childhood there.

Marshlands Conservancy 2013
The photo exhibit is almost here, so I made the trip to Marshlands Conservancy. The 600mm lens had to stay in the car because it is too heavy and bulky to carry around. But I really needed it. I may give it a try during my next visit.

August Birds
Made it to Croton train station and park at low tide. I also filled in at the Croton Nature Center for a few days. It was very relaxing to finally be able to concentrate on my bird photography after a break.
