Happy New Year
There were five eagles in the eagle tree at the Croton Point Nature Center this morning! Now that is a happy event. Saw Mill River Audubon’s Project FeederWatch at the nature center continues again this year.

Snowbound
Large numbers of eagles remain on the Lower Hudson River. My view this week was from a distance, except for first grade eagle watching on Tuesday. Also, please take part in the Great Backyard Bird Count. You can go to a nearby park that has a feeder and just count for 15 minutes.
