Got a text from Charlie and Karolyn that there were two red-headed woodpeckers at Kingsland Point Park.  I was just over the MTA tracks in DeVries Park so I immediately took off.  This happens to be the same woodpecker enjoying a few different meal courses in the park.  It seems we have a red-headed woodpecker explosion here.  We were all looking for a snowy owl close to home.
