Costa Rica – More Favorites

I have to mention my great guides.  At Aquila de Osa, Drake Bay on the Osa Peninsula, Carlos Gonzalez,   clgonzalez08@gmail.com    spotted them all.  He promised scarlet macaws, toucans, monkeys, caracara, iguanas, trogons, ringed and belted kingfishers, boobies, black hawks and much more.  In Monteverde,   Esteban Mendez Vargas,  mendezguia@hotmail.com   led me to the bell bird and oropendula at the nest.  He also showed me an hepatic tanager, toucan, and motmot.  Any bird you want to see, Esteban will show you.  Adrian, at the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, gave his nature walk talk and was nice enough to point out quite a lot of birds especially for me.  He caught the quetzal family, toucanet, brown catbirds in the nest.  And he arranged for Esteban to guide me the next day.
