Looks Like Audubon

I went to Audubon’s Aviary: Parts Unknown at the NY Historical Society.  And we put up a Looks Like Audubon exhibit at the Croton Point Nature Center.  I thought I would post some of my lookalikes here.

Audubon hated black backed gulls so he painted one with a damaged wing. Unfortunately this one had a broken wing at the Croton Boat Ramp last month. I don't know what happened to it. I took the photograph before I learned the Audubon story.

I primarily photograph eagles and peregrine falcons. I do include many other birds and some mammals.
