I got there.  I had an awesome few hours.  I honored Linn Pierson’s memory and reflected on the beauty of the Hudson River.

Merlin just finishing a meal

Obligatory turkey vulture

Monarch heading to Angangueo, Mexico

Sharp Shinned????

Flock of mergansers on the Hudson?

Well fed Sharp shinned that looks like a young peregrine

Red tailed, probably a resident

Young red tailed hawk

Chipmunk foraging

My local red tailed at Croton Point Park. Had to stop on the way back from Stateline.

I primarily photograph eagles and peregrine falcons. I do include many other birds and some mammals.
