Snow Business

Getting ready for the Big Blizzard of ’13.  I needed a few more pictures for my Teatown Hudson River EagleFest (now Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013) presentation, For the Eagles.  Thankfully, I went out yesterday on my rounds.  George’s Island eagles did appear just as I drove up.  They knew I needed to fill in a blank slide.  The Verplanck/Fleishmann’s Pier eagles may need some anger management.   An adult and immature did a flyover Annsville Paddlesport Park going west.  They landed in the trees at the entrance to Fort Smith in support of our troops.

There are eagles at George's Island this year. We were beginning to worry

These kids are driving me crazy. Funny thing is that the branch could barely hold the adult. The immature really wobbled for a minute then took after the mature.

Forgot to show what that youngster really caught when it swooped down into the river a few days ago.
